Kealan Delaney - CEO

Kealan co-founded Delmec in 2000. Today Delmec is a leading supplier of infrastructural steelwork to the telecoms industry. Kealan has leveraged his skills and experience into other business areas such as quarrying, construction, and travel. Previously Kealan worked as Plant Manager and Development Engineer with Roadstone, part of the CRH Group.

Ivan Daly - Managing Director

Ivan has vast experience in telecoms structures and site design through his work as an Engineer/Project Manager for Delmec Engineering. Ivan’s prior engineering experience is in the manufacturing and construction industries.

Ivan holds an honours degree in Engineering from Dublin Institute of Technology, Bolton St., and is a member of the Institute of Engineers Ireland.

Pat O’Brien - Production & Operations Director

Pat served his apprenticeship as a fitter with Irish Sugar PLC in the 1980s at which time he also attended Carlow IT. He achieved City and Guilds qualifications in mechanical engineering and design. Pat joined D&P Delaney in 1989 and was appointed production manager in 1999.

When Delmec Engineering Ltd. was formed in the year 2000 from D&P Delaney Ltd., Pat continued as Production Manager for the new company. Pat has overseen the production and supply of structures and support steel for over 5000 telecommunications sites, and also the implementation of an ISO 9001 Quality Control System.

Patrick O’Brien – Project Manager Tower Department

Patrick is currently Project Manager of our tower department. Patrick graduated from St. Mary’s Academy, Carlow in 2007 and subsequently pursued a business management course in Carlow I.T.  Patrick joined Delmec in 2008.  

Ivo Meekel – Business Development Director

Ivo is responsible for business development of Delmec’s solutions and services into overseas markets. He has over 15 years experience in the telecommunications industry across Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. His focus is on identifying and developing new business opportunities with clients through direct sales and channel partners.

Ivo holds a MBA qualification, is a certified Project Manager (PMP) and certified Six Sigma (Black-Belt).

Tamara Seerkissoon – Financial Director

Tamara joined Delmec Engineering in November 2000, while working for Delmec Engineering Tamara Studied and qualified as an accounts technician and then followed on to qualify as a Certified Public Accountant in 2005.  Tamara has overseen the entire accounts function within Delmec Engineering and was also involved in the implementation of an ISO 9001 quality control system.
