ANALYSIS & DESIGN
OVERVIEW:
Delmec provides a thorough structural analysis and design of new towers and investigation of existing towers. Structural analysis is site-specific and will determine if your proposed or existing structure has strong enough members - based on code standards - to carry your existing or proposed new additional equipments.
Structural analysis and design scope of services includes:
New monopoles & lattice towers, stayed masts, poles & towers on buildings:
- single or multi-operators,
- poles and towers with small wind turbines and telecom equipment,
- poles in sports field to carry lights and telecom equipment,
- stealth monopoles,
- other tailored combination of uses as the client requires it
- Structural investigation of existing monopoles, lattice towers & stayed masts to check existing capacity, or extra capacity needed to carry new equipment. Structural investigation reveals overstressed members that need to be strengthened.
- Structural analysis and design includes calculation for stress and serviceability. Delmec also provides checks for fatigue and vibration for specialised towers that support small wind turbines.
TECHNICAL RESOURCES:
Structural analysis and design are compliant to relevant standards as provided for by NSAI, BSI and the EUROCODE. The Delmec Team utilises the latest computerised structural analysis and design packages and summary or full reports are provided for as the client requires it.
