In 2019, Zantel approached Delmec to carry out a site assessment and a solution based rectification design with a list of required quantities per site on the given list of towers, as all the towers are located in Zanzibar making them highly likely to rust within a short time. All sites awarded to Delmec are self-supported lattice towers on greenfield sites.
